By signing up for the site, you acknowledge you have read and agree to the rules;
1. Censorship. Explicit content, graphic depictions of sex, excessive cursing, harassment, discrimination and bullying will not be tolerated. We are PG 13+ and this will be enforced. Same rules apply for graphics. Treat everyone with respect and tolerance.
Rape, or mentions of rape, is banned. Excessive descriptions of graphic violence is not allowed, but violence is, within reason.
2. All characters must be registered, that can be done here. Just C&P the character application into a new thread and fill out.
Guests may post in the Advertising board and the forbidden forest, and we invite you to do so.
3. You are expected to write to a high standard. Spelling, grammar and punctuation must be correct. Furthermore, what you write needs to make sense.
4. Characters can not be deleted. They can be registered as temporarily inactive by PM to the Administration or killed off. Activity is essential and characters found absent for six months or more will be killed off. Forever.
5. There is no limit on number of characters, as long as activity and quality is maintained. We ask that you make characters varied. Characters can be labeled as 'disposable' by their player when they need to be killed off.
6. God modding - controlling other people's characters - is not allowed unless you are named a godmodder by the admin. Certified god modders are here to force you to develop your character.
7. All threads are open threads; this means anyone can join any thread. You can organize to have a thread with someone specific, but people can join it if they want. This goes both ways. If I catch anyone deliberately ruining threads with their presence you'll be in trouble.
8. Posting - There is no word limit. The only thing posts need to have is more plot. A great story is to the point, action packed and every last word matters. One-liners are fine, as long as you give the other player somewhere to go.
This forum is all about writing, creating stories with wonderful people and being absolutely nuts about the Harry Potter 'verse.
9. Don't sort out problems by yourself, always ask an admin if you have a problem with the site or another player.
10. Copywrite. All things Harry Potter belong to J.K. Rowling and affiliated publishers ect. The work of the members is their intellectual property. The site, hosted by proboards, belongs to Kath and Baz the administration. This forum is not-for profit. Never give your bank details out to third parties. We (Kath and Baz) will not ask for them. (Proboards will if you want add-free.)
To protect your account, use a high strength password and never give it out to third parties.
